For security purposes, you should always be able to read your terminal prompt. The ability to do this is called terminal Schneiderei able or tasalen for short.

Repair or replace terminal
If you can’t read the prompt for the internet browser or terminal, there are a few ways to fix it.
Either add an application in your Apple or Google Play store called Terminal Emulator, or simply download and install a terminal emulator app on your phone or desktop.
Once installed, simply type the respective application’s command into the terminal and voila! You’re back in business.
If you don’t have a computer at home, or don’t want to install an app for personal use, there is still help for you. Try attending a local computer training class! There are many that offer online classes as well. Or find someone local to take your tech training classes.

If that does not work, try again later when the account is logged in.
If still fails, contact customer support. You may need to add another email address and/or username to your account to make them aware of the issue.

Check internet connection
If you are having issues reading your username or locating your account, check your internet connection. Some people have had success using a cellular network instead of a home phone due to this issue.
Many providers now offer smartphone apps that can help you find your account by using their internet connection. It is easy to use and has worked for people!
If you have a dedicated computer address, then this problem does not apply as the server cannot connect with an invalid username or password.
If you can answer these questions for yourself and the terminal gives you an error, then it is time to replace your hard drive! Your data may be safe, but if you were able to log in with an appropriate username and password, then the server must have problems.
Look into these issues and see if there is a fix.
Re-enter password
terminal does not recognize the username or password you enter to log in. This can happen for several reasons:
You may have typed in your user name and password incorrectly.
You may have changed your password, but not your user name.
You may have created a new account with a same email address and new password, but not sure which is the right one because of how different passwords are usually are on different accounts.
