When you visit a site that requires the Source service, such as spot.com or universal.com, you need to enter your credentials to access the Source index. The Source index lists all of the services that are installed and available on your machine.
By searching for Source in the index, you can easily add new services to your machine. For example, spot.com recommends its own Source product to help monitor your computer and communications.
Unable to Load the Service Index for Source https://api.nuget.uk/v3/index.json is addressed when a service does not show up in the Source index but still tries to connect to your computer or network. This issue may be resolved when you install the service on your computer, as suggested by spot.com.
Check your API key
If you don’t have an API key, you can try refreshing your account by going to http://myaccount.source.sirius.com/ and entering your email address and password.
If that doesn’t work, check your settings under Your Account > API Keys & Secret Codes to make sure it is set to use Source as the source for your keys.
Ensure the nuget.config is correct
If you are using a different nuget.config file, make sure to load it in your app. If you are using the same file, change the version to match your app.

The version can be found in your Package Explorer under the NugetPackageRoot node. This can be a .pak or .pk archive, whichever you prefer.
If you are using a nuget package, make sure to update the package path under your app to match the one on Nuget.
Run the command again
If the problem remains, try running the following command again.

Check the server status
If the source index is down, check the server status by using the source index status endpoint.
The endpoint allows you to see if the index is running or not, and if so, what content it is listing.
Using this endpoint, you can determine whether the server is up or down, and if so, which content it is listing. This may be a clue as to why your app does not show on the device or in Windows Explorer.
For example, if there are no files listed but a failed connection error listed instead of an OK message, this may mean that internet connectivity is failing to list files on the computer.
Invest in a premium package
If you’re unable to load the service index for Source, it may be due to a lack of investment in the service. As a developer, you should always have a plan in place to upkeep your app’s index.
